These photos are from 9 months, but I just couldn't pass up posting them. Serif has only worn shoes 2 other times. One was for a few hours on our first venture out (he was only a few weeks old) and the other time was around that same time. They were so cute but wouldn't stay on his feet so he just never really wore them. Last week Jeff pulled out the little chucks we've had in the closet since right after he was born. We decided to try them and see if they fit yet. Until this time they have just seemed so big! Serif wasn't too sure of them. They fit him pretty good but it's going to take a little bit of getting use to. He's good at walking around barefoot (with support from holding our hands or something stable such as the ottoman or couch), but the shoes put a new spin on things. When I put him down he would keep one foot up because it just felt so weird to him. He reminded me of cat with tape on it's feet! He was hilarious! He was very unsteady on his feet and kept putting his foot down sideways as if he were walking on his ankles. Here's a few photos capturing the moments.

i absolutely love, love, LOVE this!!!!! especially the one of both jeff & serif's chuck-clad feet together, adorable! and so special! it makes me miss you all, and your chucks!

so jealous of the chucks. us poor folks cant afford them. ;( lol. glad to see serif has daddy's flair for colorful socks! he he he
