Our First Tomato!
Jeff and I decided to start a small organic garden this year. Our yard is small so we can't plant too big of a bed. Pops and Bob 'volunteered' and built us a great little raised bed to put in the backyard in front of the chicken coop (a.k.a. 'shed'). We filled the bed with organic soil and are going to try our best to grow some nice organic vegetables. We've planted 3 varieties of lettuce, garlic and onions so far. As I was planting the lettuce I couldn't help but notice this cute little tomato that surprisingly showed up in our bed! And I thought tomatoes were a warm season vegetable (well, fruit really). I think we're going to like gardening.

LOL this is amazing! how can i STILL be jealous of that hat!? there is such great color in this picture too!
THAT LOOKS LIKE A FINE RIPE YOUNG MAN IN THAT THERE GARDEN,HOW MANY TOMATO PLANTS DID YOU PUT OUT?
