More Bath Time Fun

So in just the past couple of weeks we've started putting Serif in the blow-up duck tub. The blue tub from past photos has just gotten too small for his 'little' body to fit and still keep water and a toy in there too. So no more kitchen counter baths . . . we've moved to the bathroom tub. He's also been taking showers with us too, of which he seems to love. He loves watching the water come down from the shower head and going in and out from under it's stream. Not sure how to capture that one on camera yet. ; ) He's so fun.


He doesn't do a lot of tummy time, but we've been putting him on his belly after baths so we can lotion him up good. He loves to 'belly surf'. He's really not great at keeping his elbows down to push himself up yet. He'll do it, but it's quick and then he's back to surfing. Jeff and I are both excited about starting swim lessons for him. We're hoping to start them this summer. I think he'll love it!
When Serif was born my sister immediately brought him two gifts. One was a super cute outfit and the other was this robe. Of course looking at it then it seemed it would be forever before he'd actually be able to fit in it. Well I guess forever is here 'cause it's fitting pretty darn good. Good grief, he's just growing so quickly!!! Too cute though huh? Two things that guarantee a smile in my life are Jeff and now Serif . . . my boys.

A quick update to the last post. Serif got over his Bronchiolitis last weekend but Sunday night he started up a really bad cough again. It wasn't as deep in the chest as before, but it was very consistent and kept him from getting good sleep. So I called the doctor back and they said they should see him just to be safe. So we took him on Tuesday and it turns out he's just got a bad cold. Poor guy. neither of us can seem to kick this thing! i guess the past couple of nights have gone better. I only remember hearing him once last night, so I guess it's starting to clear up . . . again.
