Cereal!

Serif has been sleeping through the night for a long time now, but the past several nights he has been waking up at 2am hungry! When I told the doctor this he said he thinks it's time to start cereal! He said that he would normally say he's playing us at night and just wanting us to come get him, but given his size the poor guy's really probably hungry. I think we're going to start that tonight and see how he does. (written the night of the doctor's appointment)

So we tried the cereal Tuesday night (after the doctor's appointment). He really wasn't feeling very well that night so it probably wasn't the best time to try him out on it. The photos show exactly how it went. Not well. He wasn't too happy to begin with, then I don't think he appreciated putting anything else 'out of the ordinary' in his mouth. I think he'd had enough of that from the day before. We haven't tried it again this week because he's been sleeping better. Maybe he thinks it's better to sleep than to be given cereal? We'll see how things go this week. Keep checking back on the past few posts (including the jumperoo one). I've not had the chance to load all our photos yet. I do plan to come back and add a little more. Serif's waking now - gotta go!
